Are you new to Microsoft Excel or just want a refresh in some basics? We will be doing a series covering some of the basics that you may need to know about using Excel.
In this post we will be looking conditional formatting and it’s uses. Conditional formatting can be applied to any cell/s and it will automatically change the format of the cell based on it’s data. In our example we use it to highlight any cells that have a negative value red so it easily highlights poorly performing items.
Once formatting has been applied you can also filter based on colours so your filter to show only red cells and easily analyse your data as required.
